Life Coaching
I want to help you identify and realize goals and aspirations,
and along the way identify obstacles and overcome or mitigate them
so your progress continues.
Once we have zeroed in on some goals, we can help you aim toward
developing your natural talents or shoring up some areas
that need to be developed to reach your goals.
This sounds broad because each person is different, and because
this can be a comprehensive process that looks at many
different areas of your life.
At some point I usually sprinkle in some mentoring
which draws from my own experience.
Often my life coaching involves some training in certain skills and areas of knowledge that will support you.

Many principles are involved, and the first is right order.
A life coach does not set your course, but helps you
find it, define it, refine it.
A life coach can be a partner, a mentor, a cheerleader, and an advisor.

How does this work?
Life Coaching is guided, but we are working on what you would like to tackle.
Life coaching is not therapy, and instead is more forward looking and usually a very positive experience.
If you need help with a mental health issue, another professional can complement what we are doing.

Progress with a life coach should move along at a good pace.
After we conclude our sessions, small issues may necessitate occasional shorter check-in sessions.
Be aware: I do (ever so gently) drop truth bombs if you need to hear them.

I will remind you of your goals if you head off in a different direction;
keeping you on track is part of my job.
Mentoring is sprinkled into life coaching, by agreement, because our sessions are not only about checking off goals from a list, but also about infusing your achievement with personal transformation.
