Maybe you are a spouse or a couple having difficulties in marriage. Or,  your marriage just needs a tune-up in a few areas.

Perhaps you are not a marriage therapist, but still need to know how to support couples as a kind of  "First Responder" helping those in your personal or professional life who are in a marriage crisis.

You may be a clergy member, deacon, religious, or member of a church ministry or other organization who, with limited resources, expertise, and time, is often called upon to help marriages in crisis.

Adult Children of Divorce (ACOD)

ACOD can heal by having time to speak with someone who can receive and understand their thoughts and wounds and, importantly, show them the path toward healing and strength. I live this reality myself and help hundreds of others who experience this. I can guide you through the discovery process showing how being a child of parental divorce may be impacting your life. Adoption vs Parenting: Discernment and Accompaniment

In an unplanned pregnancy, discerning

- in all freedom - the best way forward regarding parenting or placement for adoption helps care for the needs of all involved. I work with expecting moms/dads as well as those wishing to adopt. I also work with the families of the pregnant parents as they navigate what can be a difficult situation.

I also enjoy working with pregnancy resource centers as they develop programs for presenting this choice carefully.

I am adopted and have worked in many facets of this field. I can also advise politicians on how to understand and present this topic well.

"How Do I Come Across to Others?"

Self-awareness about how you come across to people is important, and we all have our blind spots. People may be receiving signals you do not mean to send. Or, you may have a protective behavior which worked for you at some point in life, but is now not needed and is contributing to unhealthy or at least unfulfilling interactions.

Every now and then you may need someone to help you sort out some direction or purpose in areas of your life. It is hard to stop the world and focus, and sometimes people don't know how to start, or perhaps how to bring ideas into a workable plan that gets over the finish line.
